The Eubanks Point is a headland in the West Antarctic Ellsworth Land . With its steep and icy slopes, which are characterized by rocky outcrops on the north flank, it is 3 km west-southwest of the summit of Mount Loweth in the Jones Mountains .
Participants in a University of Minnesota expedition to the Jones Mountains from 1960 to 1961 mapped them. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1963 after Staff Sergeant Leroy E. Eubanks of the United States Marine Corps , navigator of the United States Navy's VX-6 flight squadron and participant in the groundbreaking flights of an LC 47 Dakota between Byrd Station and the Eights -Coast in November 1961.
