Eugen Freiherr von Redwitz

Eugen Freiherr von Redwitz (born July 2, 1939 in Würzburg ) is a German politician ( CSU ).

Life

Redwitz comes from an old Franconian noble family. He attended elementary school in Hütting (today Rennertshofen ) and the Benedictine high school in Ettal , where he graduated from high school in 1959. He did a forestry internship in Ottobeuren and Kipfenberg and studied forestry and business administration in Munich. He earned the title of business graduate. He is a board member of the Bavarian Forest Owners Association and was the first chairman of the German Forest Protection Association in the Bavarian State Association until 2009 .

In 1966, Freiherr von Redwitz became a member of the CSU and local council. In 1990 he became a district councilor and a member of the Bavarian Broadcasting Council . From 1982 to 2003 he sat in the Bavarian State Parliament , from 1986 directly elected to the constituency of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen . There he was head of the media working group in the CSU parliamentary group.
