E. Kurt Fischer

Eugen Kurt Fischer (born January 6, 1892 in Stuttgart ; † 1991 ) was a German journalist , radio editor and media scientist .

E. Kurt Fischer initially worked as an editor and features editor in Chemnitz and Königsberg before he switched to radio in 1929. As the literary director of MIRAG, he is one of the pioneers of German broadcasting. In addition, Fischer worked as a dramaturge, critic, university lecturer and radio play author. He is best known today for his writings on the theory and history of radio plays .
