Eugen Wolff-Filseck (born August 22, 1873 in Uhingen , † July 29, 1937 in Munich ) was a German impressionist painter .

He was born at Filseck Castle as the son of the estate manager there.

He began his painting apprenticeship at the Stuttgart Academy with Albert Kappis and Jakob Grünenwald . He was also a student of the lithographer Johannes Wölffle (1807-1893). Wolff-Filseck studied from November 5, 1895 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich in the composing school of Heinrich von Zügel . He continued his apprenticeship in Heinrich von Zügel's summer painting school in Wörth am Rhein .

In 1898 he became a member of the Munich Secession . In 1911 he married the painter Elisabeth Haug and has lived and worked in Munich ever since. In 1926 he was awarded the title of professor by the Bavarian state. Wolff-Filseck took part in art exhibitions in the Munich Glass Palace and in the Munich Secession. Eugen Wolff-Filseck died in Munich and was buried in the Uff churchyard in Bad Cannstatt .

A small selection of his works can be seen today in the information center at Filseck Castle.
