The European Bread Museum eV in Ebergötzen shows a cultural-historical collection on the subject of grain to bread in the former Radolfshausen Forestry Office . It was located in Mollenfelde until 2000 .

Exhibits

Besides the permanent exhibition on the history of bread and flour milling , the museum houses outside a historic windmill which in 1812 Hotteln in Hildesheim was built and was rebuilt after the great mill death in Germany of the 1960s 1974 in Mollenfelde, the former site of the Bread Museum . Another exhibit in the outdoor area is a water mill with an undershot water wheel , which originally comes from Tyrol and which was brought to Mollenfelde in 1971. Both mills were moved to Ebergötzen in 2004 and restored again.

Other sights in the outdoor area of ​​the bread museum are a grain garden and three bread ovens . Special roll shapes such as the Dreizackweck from Worms-Horchheim are also on display.
