Europe's rose garden in the Palatinate city ​​of Zweibrücken ( Rhineland-Palatinate ) is a 50,000 m² park in which more than 60,000 rose bushes of 2,000 different varieties are arranged.

The Zweibrücken rose garden is one of the city's sights, including the restored residential palace of the dukes of Pfalz-Zweibrücken . The park is one of the largest gardens in Europe and the third largest rosarium in the world. The park was opened in 1914 by Princess Hildegard of Bavaria .

Throughout the summer, the visitor is presented with a variety of rose varieties in the varied scenery of the rose garden, which is defined by ponds, trees and plants. The so-called Zweibrücker Rose Days begin on the third weekend in June, when the roses bloom . But the park is also worth seeing in early spring when the spring flowers bloom and from the beginning of April when the wild roses are in bloom . The Rosengarten concert series is performed every Sunday afternoon from May to September .
