European Universities Games

The European Universities Games ( EUSA-Games ) are a European multisport event for students.

The European Universities Games took place for the first time in 2012. The venue for the Games was Cordoba , Spain , from July 13th to 24th . Córdoba prevailed in the bidding process against Łódź and Lisbon and was awarded the contract to host the Games in March 2010 in Vilnius by the European University Sports Association , the umbrella organization for the Games. According to the company, the games are the largest European multisport event for students. In future, the EUSA Games should be held in all even years in which no Universiade takes place.

The format of the event consists of the eight core sports: badminton, basketball, soccer, futsal, handball, tennis, table tennis and volleyball.

In addition, two optional sports are offered from the remaining EUSA sports.
