The Eurotheum is a skyscraper in the city of Frankfurt am Main . It was built at the same time as the neighboring Main Tower and completed in 1999.
The building is 110 meters high and has 31 floors. It is one of the few high-rise buildings in Frankfurt that contains both offices and a hotel . Up to the 21st floor there is 17,000 m² of office space. The Hotel Innside Frankfurt Eurotheum begins on the 22nd floor with two conference rooms and the publicly accessible bar "22nd Lounge & Bar". From the 23rd to the 29th floor there are 74 furnished apartments , which are also suitable for long-term guests thanks to their small kitchens. With the new building of the European Central Bank , the ECB was no longer a major tenant, which it had previously used as an extension for the Eurotower . The building was designed by the Offenbach architects Novotny Mähner Assoziierte .
In December 2018, Commerzbank sold the skyscraper to the commercial property developer GEG for 250 million euros. The building is currently fully rented and houses a. a. Hotel apartments.
Trivia
In the former rooms of the ECB data center there is now a data center connected to the building heating system from the Dresden company Cloud & Heat Technologies. The servers installed there are cooled with water, which heats up to 60 ° C and is therefore integrated directly into the building's heating circuit.
