Eva Friedrich (author)
Eva Friedrich (born February 23, 1945 in Freudenstadt ) is a German artist , painter , teacher and children's book author .
Life
Eva Friedrich initially studied at the Ludwigsburg University of Education near Stuttgart . After working as a teacher, she then studied from 1982 to 1987 at the Free Art Academy in Nürtingen with a focus on drawing , ceramics and sculpture .
In 1987 Friedrich moved to Burgwedel . After quitting school in 1993, she started working as a freelance artist.
From 1998 to 2002 Eva Friedrich was the first chairwoman of the art-club Burgwedel. In 2008 she started working as a children's book author. As a visual artist, she uses techniques with colored pencil, pastel chalk, acrylic and clay. In 2011 she began her artistic occupation with photography as well as film and video works.
