Eva Geiler

Eva Geiler (* 1977 in Jena ) is a German actress and cultural manager.

Life

Eva Geiler studied German language and literature, psychology and art history at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena until the intermediate examination . She then completed a diploma in acting at the Berlin University of the Arts . This was followed by ten years as a permanent member of the ensemble at the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater Görlitz-Zittau , at the Württembergische Landesbühne Esslingen and at the Volkstheater Rostock . From 2010 Eva Geiler worked as a freelancer at the Theater Magdeburg , the Theater Konstanz , the Bühnen Halle and the Schauspielbühnen Stuttgart . At the same time, she studied culture and media management at the KMM Hamburg - Institute for Culture and Media Management (KMM) the Institute for Culture and Media Management at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater . In 2014 she completed her studies with a master’s degree. In a double function she was engaged for the first time at the Neue Bühne Senftenberg , where she was on stage as an actress and as a project consultant was in charge of the structural development of the Landesbühne Süd. Since the beginning of the 2018/2019 season she has been Head of Communication at the Schauspielbühnen Stuttgart. She can also be seen as an actress.
