Eva Maria Sirowatka

Eva Maria Sirowatka (born June 21, 1917 in Krausen , Rößel district as Eva Maria Wiesemann , † January 16, 1988 in Emmelshausen ) was a German writer .

Life

The teacher 's daughter grew up in Neu-Wuttrienen in the Allenstein district . She attended the Lyceum in Allenstein . She received her further training at the Königsberg Art Academy . After the flight and expulsion of Germans from Central and Eastern Europe from 1945 to 1950 , she lived in Emmelshausen near Koblenz from 1951 .

Sirowatka's literary work includes novels, short stories, books for young people and poems. Their stories, some of which are dialect, often take place in Masuria . Some of her books had multiple editions. Onkelchens Brautschau will also appear spoken by Ruth Maria Wagner on a commercial sound carrier. The author published a large number of her works with Johannes Kiefel in Wuppertal-Barmen .
