Eva Urevc (born November 2, 1995 in Jesenice ) is a Slovenian cross-country skier .

Career

Urevc, who competes for SD Gorje, made its first international appearance at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck . There she took 16th place in the mixed relay. In the 2015/16 season she mainly competed in the cross-country alpine cup and reached 28th place in the overall ranking at the end of the season. She made her debut in the cross-country skiing world cup in Planica in January 2016 and achieved 41st place in the sprint. At the U23 World Championships in Rasnov in 2016 , she came in 32nd place over 10 km freestyle and 27th place in sprint. At the beginning of the 2016/17 season she took her first World Cup point in Davos with 30th place in the sprint. At the U23 World Championships in 2017 in Soldier Hollow , she finished 35th over 10 km freestyle and 27th in both skiathlon and sprint. In the 2018/19 season she made it into the points eight times in the World Cup and achieved her first top ten placement in the individual World Cup in Cogne with sixth place in the sprint. At the World Cup finals in Québec , she finished 42nd and finally reached 52nd place in the overall World Cup and 27th place in the Sprint World Cup. At the season highlight, the Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 in Seefeld in Tyrol , she ran to 21st place in the sprint and ninth place in the relay.
