Evald Brønlund

Evald Niels Simon Brønlund (born March 23, 1949 ) is a Greenlandic politician ( Inuit Ataqatigiit ).

He attended the Efterskole from 1963 to 1965 . In 1968 he passed his trade exam, followed by the higher trade exam in 1972. He then began to work at Den Kongelige Grønlandske Handel and in 1988 became head of labor at Royal Greenland .

He sat from 1983 to 1988 and from 1993 on the council of the municipality Ittoqqortoormiit , from 1993 to 1997 as deputy mayor. In 1995 he also came to the Inatsisartut for a legislative period , as Jens Napaattooq did not take his place. In 2005 he was once again deputy mayor for the last period before the administrative reform in 2009.

On March 11, 2005 he was awarded the Nersornaat in silver.
