Evaldas Ignatavičius (born February 8, 1967 in Ukmergė , Lithuanian SSR ) is a Lithuanian diplomat and former politician, Deputy Foreign Minister of Lithuania.

Life

From 1987 to 1992 Evaldas Ignatavičius studied philology at the Vilniaus universitetas and was a civil servant in the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1991 to 1995 , from 1995 to 1998 advisor in the Lithuanian embassy (Poland), from 2004 to 2009 ambassador to Germany , from 2001 to In 2002 and since 2009 Deputy Foreign Minister Audronius Ažubalis (* 1958) in the Kubilius II cabinet . From 2002 to 2004 he was a professor at the Institute of Political Science at Vilnius University. From 2013 to 2016 he was the Lithuanian ambassador to Belarus .
