Barntrup Evangelical Church
The Evangelical Church is a listed church building in Barntrup , a town in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Lippe in Germany .
history
The Evangelical Reformed parish church was supposedly founded in 1317 as " Our Lady ". The square vaulted choir dates from this time; also the tower, this was later changed in the upper part. In a fire in 1636, the vaults of the old hall house were destroyed by the collapse of the tower. Until 1638 the newly built carried the ship , in the course of this one was wood barrel ceiling confiscated. The rectangular extension on the south side dates from 1912.
