Evangelical Church Wemlighausen
The Protestant church is a listed church building in Wemlighausen , a district of Bad Berleburg in the Siegen-Wittgenstein district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).
History and architecture
The neo-Romanesque , two- yoke hall church is designated 1906. The semicircular closed chancel is strongly drawn in. The stucco building with dry stone division is a roof turret mounted. There are two entrances on the west side. Originally, the visitors from Wemlinghausen and Schüllar entered the church separately. In the nave are vaulted ceiling drawn in the narrow aisles trapezoidal Gewölbejoche . The equipment comes mainly from the construction period. The altar is marked with 1907. There are galleries on the north and west sides .
Furnishing
The organ was rebuilt in 2005 by the Noeske & Kozeluh (Rotenburg) organ building workshop. The slider chest instrument has 6 registers on a manual and pedal.
