The Protestant rectory in the Heilbronn district of Frankenbach is a registered cultural monument.

history

A rectory has probably been in Frankenbacher Kirchstrasse since the late Middle Ages. There is evidence of a new building for 1695, which burned down in 1748. As a result, today's rectory was built in half-timbered construction in 1756 using the stone ground floor that had been preserved .

description

The Protestant rectory at Kirchstrasse 4 is a two-story plastered building with a hipped roof . The ground floor has a cross-shaped hallway; the building was once accessed via four entrances. The main entrance still existing today shows profiled baroque garments with dates and the names of the pastor , the mayor and the pastor . The ground floor once housed the laundry room , wooden bar, servants' room and stable, while the kitchen and living rooms were upstairs.

Belonging to the rectory is the neighboring parish barn with a decoratively designed exposed framework, with which the building today forms a cultural monument as a whole.
