Evans Owusu Nyarko (born July 6, 1992 ) is a German - Ghanaian soccer player who is under contract with Eintracht Norderstedt .

Career

Evans Nyarko was born in Ghana and grew up in Hamburg. He took his first steps in football in the youth department of TSV Uetersen and moved to Hamburger SV in 2005 . In the A-youth he played both years with HSV in the U-19 Bundesliga , reached third place in the North / Northeast season in the 2011/12 season and played a total of 25 U-19 Bundesliga games in which he scored two goals. In his second year in the A-Jugend, Nyarko made it into the second team of HSV and made his senior debut on August 8, 2010 against Holstein Kiel . After he had made six league appearances in this season, he developed into a fixture in central defense a year later, playing 17 league games.

Nyarko moved to Fortuna Düsseldorf II for the 2012/13 season . After his debut for Fortuna on August 25, 2012 against Sportfreunde Siegen , the central defender immediately secured himself a regular place. Together with the Düsseldorf U-19 talent Leander Goralski, he sat on the bench at the Fortuna Bundesliga match against the then reigning champions Borussia Dortmund in November 2012 after several Fortuna players were injured. However, Nyarko did not make his Bundesliga debut. In June 2013 he completed a three-day trial training session with Borussia Dortmund's U-23 team.

Less than a week later, Nyarko moved to Dortmund's U-23. Decisive for the change was on the one hand the chance to play in the 3rd division , on the other hand the change of position from central defense to the six , on which BVB used him. He initially signed a two-year contract until 2015. On July 20, 2013, he made his competitive debut in the 3rd football league in a 1-0 home win over VfB Stuttgart II .

After relegation with the U-23 from the 3rd division, Nyarko moved to Holstein Kiel for the 2015/16 season . After a year and a half with the storks , Nyarko joined SV Wehen Wiesbaden in January 2017 . He received a contract until June 30, 2018. In Wiesbaden, however, he promptly tore a muscle fiber and was only used for one minute in the second half of the season. Nyarko was substituted on in the 90th minute in the 3-1 away win at Hansa Rostock . After that he was no longer used and his contract was not extended.

After several months without a club, Nyarko joined the regional division Eintracht Norderstedt in January 2019 .
