Evelyn Freilaßner (born July 3, 1955 in Leoben ) is an Austrian nursing assistant and former politician ( FPÖ ). From 2001 to 2002 she was a member of the National Council .

education and profession

Freilaßner attended elementary school in Kapellen (Germany) from 1962 to 1966 and then attended the girls' grammar school in Krefeld . Between 1971 and 1974 he attended the commercial vocational school in Krefeld and was employed as a secretary in 1974. She was an invoicing and accounting clerk from 1975 to 1978, and from 1983 to 2000 she ran a farm with her husband. Freilaßner completed training as a nursing assistant in Judenburg between 1997 and 1999 and was then a nursing assistant in the Vienna- Donaustadt care center .

politics

Freilaßner became a member of the FPÖ in the 1980s because it was dissatisfied with the agricultural policy of the “grand coalition”. In 1995 she founded the FPÖ in the market community of Seckau (Styria) and immediately became the community secretary and thus a member of the board of the market community of Seckau until 2000. In 1995 she also became a district treasurer, from 1998 she was a member of the regional party leadership of the FPÖ Styria and between 1998 and 2001 district party chairman - Deputy of the FPÖ Knittelfeld . Between January 30, 2001 and December 19, 2002 she represented the FPÖ in the National Council, where she succeeded Harald Fischl .

Freilaßner was married from 1974 to 2000 and is the mother of one son and two daughters.
