Cousins Ray and Terry are expected by their gang 'The Warlords' after their release from prison. Terry immediately takes over his old role as a brutal leader and resumes the war against the rival Chinese. Ray gets out of the 'Warlords' and wants to lead a regular life.

Ray spends a lot of time with his friend, the social worker Leon, who introduces him to some musicians and dancers. Together they want to start a music group. Terry oversees the activities and contacts of his cousin Ray as he secretly feels a lot more than friendship for him. He's afraid he might lose his cousin to Leon and desperately wants to get him back into the gang. So Terry intrigues against the members of the music group and tries to change Ray's mind - without success.

Then Ray meets Clare and falls in love with her - Terry is beside himself with jealousy. Terry kidnaps Clare and rapes her. To get her out of the way, Terry orders his gang member Bernie to kill Clare. Meanwhile, the gang war between the 'warlords' and the Chinese gang is intensifying. Terry takes advantage of the brutal power struggles for his own ends: in cold blood he orders the murder of Leon and the son of a dancer and blames the Chinese for the slaughter.

For Ray, a world collapses with the bloody death of his friend. He hatefully agrees to avenge the murder. By the time he learns the whole truth about Terry's intrigues, it is already too late.
