Goldie
Goldie is the stage name of the British Clifford Joseph Price MBE (born September 19, 1965 in Wolverhampton ). Price is a DJ and producer who prefers electronic music making, which in the genre Jungle and Drum and Bass is classified.
Life
Goldie made a name for himself as a graffiti artist in the 1980s . His first known record, Terminator , was released in 1993. In 1994, the single Inner City Life was released , for which Diane Charlemagne contributed the vocals. In the same year he founded the record label Metalheadz with Kemistry & Storm . His most commercially successful album was Timeless , which reached number 7 on the British charts in 1995. He had a relationship with Björk until 1996 and was married to Sonjia Ashby until 2005 . Price has five children. His nickname goes back to the gold dreadlocks he wore in the 1980s. Occasionally, Price also appeared as an actor , e. B. 1999 in a supporting role as Bull in the James Bond film James Bond 007 - The world is not enough or as Lincoln in Snatch - Pigs and Diamonds by Guy Ritchie .
