Diane Charlemagne

Diane Charlemagne (born February 22, 1964 in Manchester , † October 28, 2015 ) was a British singer .

In the mid-1980s, Diane Charlemagne became known as the new singer of the funk jazz band 52nd Street . In the early 1990s she switched to the Eurodance project Urban Cookie Collective , whose biggest chart hit was The Key, The Secret . The band released two albums and had five chart hits. 1994 sang Charlemagne for Goldie the title Kemistry and Inner City Life one. She then became part of Moby's live band as a background singer .

She continued to sing songs for dance music artists including Caliber , High Contrast , D: Ream , Netsky and 4hero .

Diane Charlemagne died on October 28, 2015 of cancer .
