The Eyelash Crevasse (English for eyelash crevasse ) is a 2.5 km long, permanent crevasse in the Australian Antarctic Territory . It is located in the ice of the polar plateau 20 km west of Turnstile Ridge at the northwest end of the Britannia Range .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names gave it its descriptive name in 2002. It is named after its pattern of ice fissures , which is reminiscent of eyelashes .
