Fédération luxembourgeoise des échecs

Fédération luxembourgeoise des échecs (FLDE) is the federation and thus the highest national administrative organization of the chess clubs in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg . It is a member of the Fédération Internationale des Échecs (FIDE) and organized as a non-profit making association. It is chaired by Pierre Fatt Ebene. The association's headquarters are in Strassen . The association was founded on October 18, 1931 under the name Fédération Luxembourgeoise d'Echecs and was only renamed in the 1950s. In 1946 he joined the World Chess Association. He is also a member of the Association internationale des échecs francophone . It currently has 16 clubs:
