Princely Rent Chamber (Braunfels)
The building of the Princely Rent Chamber in Braunfels , a town in the Lahn-Dill district in Hesse , was built around 1700. The house at Belzgasse 1 is a protected architectural monument .

The half-timbered house was built around 1700 for the Privy Councilor Wilhelm Gottfried Meder. In 1722 it was bought by Count Wilhelm Moritz von Solms (1651-1724). The Princely Rent Chamber has been located here since 1806 .
The five- axis building has a central axis with a portal and above it, also in the middle, a dwelling . The building is covered by a hipped roof. The windows are framed by ornate parapet panels and decorative gables. The portal with external staircase has an aedicular frame with a triangular gable on coiled columns . The coat of arms with the lion of the Counts of Solms is attached to the gable . Inside, the generous vestibule staircase and the rich door frames have been preserved.
