Fırat Binici

Fırat Binici (born August 5, 1985 ) is a Turkish wrestler . He was runner-up in free style European welterweight in 2009 .

Career

Binici had his first start at an international championship at the age of 24, the European Free Style Championship in Vilnius , where he won the silver medal in welterweight (weight class up to 74 kg body weight). After four victories he only had to admit defeat to Tschamsulwara Tschamsulwarajew from Azerbaijan .

He belongs to the Belediyespor Erzurum sports club , has been wrestling since 1995, is a student and is coached by Topaloglu Ilhami and Ismail Yildirim. Before his success in Vilnius, he only competed in international wrestling events in 2007 at the “Yasar Dogu” memorial in Ankara . There he reached 7th place in the welterweight division.
