Murad Hajdarau
Murad Hajdarau ( Belarusian Мурад Гайдараў , Russian Мурад Зайрудинович Гайдаров , Murad Sairudinowitsch Gaidarow * 13 February 1980 in Khasavyurt , Dagestan ASSR , Russian SFSR , Soviet Union ) is a Belarusian wrestler , who also for Russia and Azerbaijan launched.
Career
Murad Hajdarau began wrestling as a teenager in Khassavyurt. He concentrated on the free style. From 1996 he started for the Russian Wrestling Association at international championships. In 2000, however, he saw no opportunity to qualify for the Olympic Games in Sydney because of the strong competition . He therefore took on the Azerbaijani nationality at short notice and tried to qualify for the country for the Olympic Games. Since this failed, he started again for Russia, but then finally moved to Belarus in 2001. So within two years he started internationally for three different countries without the international wrestling federation doing anything about it.
Since 2000 he has been a member of a sports club in Minsk and is trained there by Valentin Mursinkow. He holds a law degree.
The weight class in which he started at all international championships after his junior years was the welterweight, which had its weight limit of 76 kg until 2001 and 74 kg from 2002. In 1996 he became Junior World Champion (Cadets = up to the age of 16) in Tehran in the weight class up to 65 kg. In 1998, however, he could not repeat this success in the Juniors (juniors, then up to the age of 18), rather he dropped out early and only came in 21st place. In 2000 he tried in Leipzig , starting for Azerbaijan, to qualify for the Olympic Games in Sydney. But he didn't succeed because he only finished 25th in the welterweight division. But in 2000, starting again for Russia, he still had two great successes in the junior area. First he was in Sofia Junior European welterweight champion before Fatih Koyuncu from Turkey and then he finished 3rd in the same weight class at the Junior World Championships in Nantes .
In 2001 he started for Belarus for the first time. He came here but at the world championship in Sofia welterweight after a victory over Bujandelgeriin Batbajar , Mongolia and a defeat against Mehdi Hajizadeh Jouibari , Iran , only on the 16th place. Just one year later, in 2002, he won at the European Championships in Baku with four wins and one defeat in the final against Árpád Ritter from Hungary a silver medal . That was his first senior medal at an international championship. At the World Cup in Tehran that year, he had no success. He lost there in his first fight against Daniel Gonzales Aguillera from Cuba and defeated European champion Árpád Ritter in his second fight, but was eliminated because of the nonsensical regulations at the time and only came in 16th place.
Murad Hajdarau then won two medals at the international championships in 2003. In Riga , after a defeat in the semi-finals against Árpád Ritter in Riga , he finished third in the consolation round against Saur Botajew , Russia, and won one Bronze medal. At the 2003 World Cup in New York , he fought his way through to the final with victories over Araik Geworgjan , Armenia , Gela Saghiraschwili , Georgia , Kunihiko Obata , Japan , Sihamir Osmanov , Macedonia and Gennady Lalijew , Kazakhstan , in which, however, he might have world's best freestyle wrestler Buwaissar Saitijew , Russia, lost just on points. He became vice world champion.
In 2004 he was also Vice European Champion in Ankara . He had fought his way back into the final there with victories over Araik Geworgjan, Nathanael Ackerman , Great Britain and Krystian Brzozowski , Poland, but lost again to a Russian wrestler, namely Ruslan Kokajew . For the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens he was not nominated by the Belarusian association. Instead, he started at the Universities World Cup in Łódź , where he won the championship with a victory in the final over Hadi Habibi , Iran.
In the years 2005 to 2007 Murad Hajdarau won no medals at the international championships. In those years he lost the battle for a bronze medal three times, namely in 2005 at the European Championships in Varna against Ahmet Gülhan from Turkey, in 2006 at the European Championships in Moscow against Krystian Brzozowski and in 2006 at the World Championships in Guangzhou against Don Pritzlaff from the United States States . At the 2007 World Cup in Baku he defeated u. a. Soslan Tigijew from Uzbekistan , but lost to Iván Fundora Zaldívar from Cuba and only came in 12th place.
The year 2008 became the most successful year in Murad Hajdarau's career. He was first runner- up at the European Championships in Tampere with victories over Antans Azarēvičs from Latvia , Emzarios Bedinidis , Greece and Krystian Brzozowski and a defeat in the final battle against Machach Murtasalijew from Russia European champion and then won an Olympic silver medal at the Olympic Games in Beijing with victories over Çamsulvara Çamsulvarayev , Azerbaijan, Gela Saghirashvili, a defeat against Soslan Tigijew and a victory over Gheorghiță Ștefan , Romania .
He won one last medal at international championships in 2009 at the European championships in Vilnius . There he defeated Irbek Farnijew , Russia, László Szabolcs , Hungary, then lost to Fırat Binici , Turkey and defeated Ljulzim Vrenezi , Macedonia and Gela Saghiraschwili. At the World Championships this year in Herning he narrowly missed a medal, because he lost the fight for this medal against Sadegh Saeed Goudarzi from Iran just by points and thus finished 5th.
His last start in an international championship graduated Murad Hajdarau in 2011. He defeated attend the World Championships in Istanbul Robert Olle from Slovakia and Carmelo Lumia from Italy , lost to Sadegh Saeed Goudarzi, defeated Augusto Midana , GBS and lost to Dawit Chuzischwili from Georgia, reaching 8th place.
For the participation in the Olympic Games in London in 2012 he could no longer qualify as he only reached the 5th and 8th places at the tournaments in Sofia and Helsinki , which were not enough for a start authorization.
