Soslan Tigiyev ( Uzbek Soslan Tigiyev ; born October 12, 1983 in Tashkent ) is an Uzbek wrestler of Ossetian origin. He won at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing a silver medal and the Olympic Games 2012 in London , a bronze medal in welterweight freestyle. Career

Soslan Tigiyev started wrestling at the age of nine in 1992, focusing on the free style. He comes from an Ossetian wrestling family. His brother Taimuras won a silver medal in free style light heavyweight at the 2008 Olympics . Soslan Tigiyev trains in the Uzbek wrestling center in Tashkent. His coach is Kazbeg Dedegkaev.
