The FC Café , or CF Café, is an East Timorese football club . He is based in the municipality of Ermera . Ermera is the main growing area for coffee in the country, from which the name of the football club is derived.

history

With the Taça Vos Esperança 2001 (Cape Your Hope), the first national championship took place before the independence of East Timor under UN administration . One of the 24 participating teams was the FC Café, also in 2004.

In 2005/2006 they were part of the Super League . But they were eliminated in the second round. The club did not take part in the Taça Digicel . The team AD Ermera that played was not identical to the FC Café.

In 2015 the qualifying round for the newly founded league Futebol Amadora took place. The FC Café landed last in Group A and therefore had to go to the Segunda Divisão in the 2016 season . Here they reached fourth place out of seven teams in Group B, which is why they also played in the second division in the 2017 season. Here they came in 5th place in Group A and thus eliminated from the two LFA leagues.

At the national cup Taça 12 de Novembro , the FC Café took part twice. In 2016 they were eliminated in the first round with 2: 7 against DIT FC and in 2017 they failed in the first main round against DIT FC .
