The league Futebol Amadora Segunda Divisão 2016 was the first season of the second highest East Timorese football league . Master was Cacusan CF . Furthermore, FC Zebra rose with Caucusan CF Primeira Divisão 2017 . The season started on March 8th and ended on June 28th, 2016. The teams were divided into two groups. The two best teams from Group A in the play-off games for promotion, while the best from Group B directly promotes. The winner of the play-off games played against the best team in Group B for the league championship.
