The Young Men's Christian Association of Timor Leste Football Club , or YMCA FC for short , is an East Timorese football club . He is based in Dili and belongs to the Assosiasaun Nasional Juventude Cristaun Timor Leste (ANJUCTIL), the East Timorese branch of the Christian Association of Young People founded in 2005 . The football club has over 300 members (as of 2013).
history
In 2015, the YMCA FC reached third place in the qualifying round for the newly founded LFA Primeira Divisão in Group D and therefore had to go to the Segunda Divisão in the 2016 season . In the 2016 season , the club reached first place in Group A, but lost in the group's play-off game against FC Zebra and therefore remained in the second division in the 2017 season . Here they came in 5th place in Group B and thus eliminated from the two LFA leagues.
The YMCA FC took part twice in the national cup Taça 12 de Novembro . In 2016 they were eliminated in the second round against Assalam FC and in 2017 they failed in the first main round against FC Zebra .
