The FC Hechingen is a football club from Hechingen . The football club from the Zollernalb district , which was established in 1951 and whose origins go back to 1907, belongs to the Württemberg Football Association .

history

When it was founded in September 1907, the club was called 1. FC Concordia . Via the stations FC Hohenzollern (1908) and football company (1909), the path led to the establishment of SV Hechingen on June 7, 1946, before the split into FC 1907 Hechingen and TV Hechingen on January 16, 1951 .

Athletic course

In the 1949/50 season , SV Hechingen was a newcomer to the then first-class Oberliga Südwest, Gruppe Süd . SSV Reutlingen won the championship in front of the tied teams of Tübinger SV 03 and FC Singen 04. The black and whites from Hechingen finished 16th with 6:54 points.

In the 1961/62 season , FC Hechingen was promoted to champions of the 1st Black Forest-Bodensee amateur league . However, the club refrained from participating in the promotion round to the II Division . The team was able to hold the highest amateur class until relegation 1967/68 , then until 1975 the 2nd amateur league. In the 1980s and 1990s, the team played several times in the district and state league, in recent years until today in the district league A Zollern, since the 2017/18 season back in the district league.
