society

Viktoria Leipzig was founded in 1903, but did not appear successfully either in the championship of the New Leipzig Football Association or in the Association of Leipzig Ball Game Clubs . Subsequently, the Saxons acted in the championship of the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs . In the 1927/28 season, Viktoria briefly broke through the dominance of the large Leipzig clubs of VfB Leipzig , Fortuna Leipzig and SpVgg 1899 Leipzig in the district of North West Saxony / Greater Leipzig and won the North West Saxon championship.

In the associated qualification for the Central German Championship, FC Viktoria prevailed against FC Salzwedel 09 and SpVgg Zella-Mehlis 06 , but ultimately failed in the quarter-finals against the clearly favored FC Wacker Halle . Until 1945 the club played no role in Central German football , Viktoria could not qualify for the Gauliga Sachsen . In 1945 the association was dissolved. A new establishment did not take place after the end of the war.
