The FC Zirl is an Austrian football club from the market town of Zirl in District Innsbruck-Land in Tyrol , was established in 1949 as SV Zirl. The fighting team plays in the Tyrolean league .

The Zirl ski club was founded on October 1, 1928, from which the Zirl sports club emerged in 1948.
Men's soccer
- history
In the early 1950s, the club called SV Zirl, later under SK Zirl, played in 1st class Innsbruck. In the late 1980s he was in the Landesliga West and rose in 1991 to the Regional League West and from the mid-1990s he returned to the Landesliga West. Subsequently, the soccer section of SK Zirl became independent and on June 24, 2006, according to the club register extract, it was renamed FC Zirl. With a second place in the Landesliga West 2012/13, the football club qualified for the Tyrolean League. In the 2014/15 season, the club had to relegate in order to win the Landesliga West in the next season. As the third-placed team, the Zirler qualified for the Regionalliga Tirol in 2019

Women's soccer
- history
The women's team at SK Zirl rose in 1996 to the Regionalliga West, a league of the second level at that time, and became champions in 1998 . In the women's soccer cup, the team took part in 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001 and did not get past the second cup round. Due to the financial situation of the club, the team broke up in 2007 .
