history

The founding meeting around Peter Moser and 18 athletes took place in the “Kaffee Reiter” on April 17, 1921, the club was named FC Reutte. After the Second World War, the club life was suspended during the war, Otto Weirather tried to revive the club and organized friendly matches. In the Oberland group, the Reutteners took third place behind the Landeckers and Imstern in 1946 . In the next season, the club started under the name SV Reutte in the Tyrolean regional league and was penultimate and relegated. In the 1951/52 season , the Ausserferner, who played under the name SK Reutte, were in the Landesliga Tirol and stayed until 1957, now again under SV Reutte. After relegation to 1st class, the club was promoted to the Tyrolean regional league in 1968 . Two years later, in 1970, they had to relegate again. This was repeated until 1977. From the 1977/78 season, the regional league became the fourth division, as the Alpine league was inserted. The Ausserferner played in the Tyrolean regional league until the 1985/86 season. Now began a steep decline through the Tyrolean lower leagues, in 1990 the club was in the regional league, in 2000 there, at the end of the 2000/01 season, the sports club was relegated to 1st class West. In 2005 the club was promoted to the regional league, 2006 to the regional league and 2010 to the Tyrolean league. The sports club stayed there until 2014/15. Since then the club has been in the Landesliga West. There were mixed results there. There was also increased rotation in the coaching chair in the 2010s.
