FDGB Cup 1971 (badminton)

The FDGB Badminton Cup in 1971 was the first edition of this competition, after a DFV Association Cup had been held the year before. It took place in Weißenfels from June 5th to 6th, 1971. The winner of this first edition of the FDGB Cup was Einheit Greifswald , which defeated series champion activist Tröbitz 3-1 in the decisive game .
