The FTSE Group ( under company law: FTSE International Limited ) is a British company with headquarters in Canary Wharf , a well-known office complex in London . Other offices are located u. a. in Frankfurt , Hong Kong , Madrid , Milan , New York , Paris , Beijing , San Francisco , Sydney , Tokyo and Toronto .
The FTSE was founded in 1995 as a joint venture between the Financial Times and the London Stock Exchange and is now a subsidiary of the London Stock Exchange .
