Faber Drive is a Canadian pop-punk band from Mission, British Columbia . She is under contract with the music label 604 Records . She played as the opening act for Nickelback , Simple Plan and Hedley .

Band history

The band was formed in 2004. The name goes back to the band's frontman , Dave Faber. Allegedly Faber ran over a red light in his car, which is why his co-driver called out to him: “Faber, Drive!” (German: “Faber, drive!”). The band name came from this exclamation.

In 2006 the band won the Battle of the Bands on the Canadian radio station The Fox 99.3 , until then under a different name . On October 9, 2007, Faber Drive released the debut album Seven Second Surgery .

The band released their second studio album, Can't Keep A Secret , on November 10, 2009. The single G-Get Up and Dance , which was released from the album, reached 6th place on the Canadian Hot 100 . Three years later, on August 28, 2012, Lost in Paradise was the third and so far last studio album. Music videos for the tracks Do It In Hollywood , Candy Store and Life Is Waiting were shot from this album . Faber Drive then played a tour in which, in addition to concerts in Canada, they also played two shows in Singapore .
