Fabian Buch (born July 30, 1990 in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse ) is a German pop singer and actor from Rhineland-Palatinate . He is the winner of the Internet casting format The Flatstar in 2010. He also uses the name .fab as a pseudonym.

Life

Buch grew up in a musical family. During his school career at the Hannah-Arendt-Gymansium in Haßloch, he took part in the web TV format “The Flatstar”, a new alternative casting show that was broadcast on binwach.de and T-Online . Together with five other candidates, Buch lived for four weeks in a music shared apartment in Los Angeles and managed to convince both the jury and the audience and thus win the show. He composed his debut single Hello, Hello together with US producer Joaquin Bynum.

Buch can be seen in the role of "Holger Martin" in the movie Bibi & Tina and its sequels. As lead singer he sings both the title song Bibi & Tina (New Version) and the two songs Mädchen auf dem Pferd and Alles Geht . The title song once again became more popular with the release of the Bibi and Tina series and reached number 15 in the single trend charts on June 19, 2020, which means that the piece just missed the German single charts . Still, it's his biggest chart success in nine years.
