Fabian Stenzel (born October 7, 1986 in Lüneburg ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Stenzel went through the youth teams of the Lüneburger SK and played there from 2004 to 2007 for the first team in the Lower Saxony league . For the 2007/08 season he moved to FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt , with whom he qualified in 2008 as seventh in the table for the newly founded 3rd football league . Since the 2011/12 season he has been under contract with third division Chemnitzer FC . With his 234th appearance in the 3rd division on November 1, 2015, Stenzel was the player with the most appearances in the league up to that point. Fabian Stenzel was also the first player to celebrate his 250th appearance in the 3rd division. In May 2017, Chemnitzer FC announced the separation from Fabian Stenzel. Then Stenzel joined the ZFC Meuselwitz in the Regionalliga Nordost . There Stenzel received a contract valid until 2019.
