Fabiane Hukuda-Strubreiter (born July 12, 1981 in Brazil ) is a former Austrian judoka .

biography

Fabiane Hukuda-Strubreiter started her career in Brazil. She became an Austrian citizen due to her marriage to the Austrian Strubreiter and started for the Multikraft Wels. In 2009 she surprisingly announced her retirement from judo due to an injury.

However, she celebrated her greatest successes for Brazil when she won the Junior World Championship in 2000. In 2007 she took 9th place for Austria at the World Cup in Rio de Janeiro .

She went back to Santos with her husband to work in her parents' hotel.

In 2010 she made a comeback at the team championships .
