Fabien Patanchon (born June 14, 1983 in Bordeaux ) is a former French cyclist .

As an amateur rider on the track, Fabien Patanchon has already been European champion in the U23 class and French champion in the elite in Madison together with Mathieu Ladagnous . In 2005 he won the U23 event in Paris-Tours and then drove at La Française des Jeux as a stagiaire and received an elite contract the following year. In 2006 he started at the Vuelta a España and finished 128th overall, in 2007 he was 131st of the Giro d'Italia .

Together with other French athletes such as Sandrine Bailly , Patanchon had parameters indicating doping abuse such as blood counts examined and published for the anti-doping project Athletes for Transparency from 2007 onwards .
