The catch Buttress (English for Eckzahnpfeiler is) a 650 m high rocky spur on Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises west of Molar Peak at the southern end of the Osterrieth Range and serves as a landmark when crossing the William Glacier .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out surveys between 1955 and 1957. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee gave the formation its descriptive name in 1959.
