Farchad Charki

Farchad Ibragimuly Charki ( Kazakh Фархад Ибрагимұлы Харки , Russian Фархад Ибрагимович Харки Farchad Ibragimowitsch Charki ; born April 20, 1991 ) is a Kazakh weightlifter of Chinese origin.

Career

Charki was part of the Kazakh team for the London 2012 Olympics but was withdrawn shortly before the Games. In 2013 he won the silver medal in the class up to 62 kg at the Asian Championships . He was first at the Universiade 2013 . However, he was tested positive for methenolone during the doping control and banned by the world association IMF for two years. After his suspension, he finished 14th in the class up to 69 kg at the 2015 World Championships . In 2016 he won the bronze medal at the Olympic Games.
