Farid (* 1981 in Hagen ) is a German magician with Persian roots.

Life

Farid was born in Hagen, North Rhine-Westphalia , his family comes from Iran . After graduating from high school , he first studied law at the University of Bochum , but dropped out prematurely. He first came into contact with magic at the age of six through his Persian grandfather. He gained his first stage experience at the age of 15.

Career

Farid was the first German-Iranian magician to be officially signed as a magician by Sony BMG in 2007 . He gained fame in 2008 primarily through his participation in the first season of the casting show The next Uri Geller (ProSieben), which was designed as a mystery broadcast , in which he took second place. This was followed by various appearances as a talk show guest on programs such as TV total (ProSieben), Johannes B. Kerner , Markus Lanz (both ZDF ), Krömer - Die internationale Show (ARD) or Inas Nacht (NDR). He then appeared mainly as an illusionist and deceit artist in his own television shows Streetmagic with Farid on ProSieben and Mystified on MTV . In 2011 he toured Germany with Inside Magic - Become part of the show and was a special guest on the casting show Das Supertalent on RTL .
