Faruk Bayar (born October 11, 1981 in Eskişehir ) is a Turkish football player .
Career
society
Bayar started his career in his hometown club Eskişehirspor . In 1999 he was appointed to the professional team for the first time and within three years established himself as a regular player in the defensive left midfield. In the 2001/02 season, the change came to the Süper Lig to İstanbulspor . He played here for three years and was appointed to the Turkish national soccer team during this time .
After Istanbulspor relegated to the 2nd division in 2005, Bayar moved to Gaziantepspor for two seasons . In 2007, Bayar again took on an engagement in Istanbul , this time his employer was the newcomer Kasımpaşa Istanbul .
With Kasımpaşa Bayar could not hold in the Süper Lig and had to relegate at the end of the season. He stayed in the first Turkish league anyway by being signed by Sivasspor in the summer of 2008 .
For the second half of the season Bayar moved to the second division Mersin İdman Yurdu . With this team he reached the championship of the TFF 1. Lig and thus direct promotion to the Süper Lig by the end of the season . After the end of the season, his expired contract was not extended.
After Bayar remained without a club for half a season, he agreed for the second half of the 2012/13 season with the second division club TKİ Tavşanlı Linyitspor . During the winter break of the 2012/13 season, he dissolved his contract and left Linyitspor.
After Bayar had remained without a club in the second half of the 2012/13 season, he signed a two-year contract with a second division club Orduspor in the summer of 2013 . During the next winter break he left this club by mutual agreement.
National team
During his time at Istanbulspor he was appointed to the Turkish U-21 national team and the first selection of the Turkish national soccer team and completed one match for both teams. For the first selection, he made his international debut in a friendly against Denmark .
In addition, he was once for the Turkish U-19 national team in April 2000, but remained with this one time without use.
