Location and surroundings
The mountain lies on the outskirts of Sommersdorf , a district of the town of Penkun in the district of Vorpommern-Greifswald in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The federal motorway 11 forms the northern border of the district and only a few meters south of it is the wooded crest of the height. In this group of trees there is a trigonometric point .
