Fatal Error is a German metal / hardcore band from the Rosenheim district in Bavaria .
history
The band was formed in 2013. In the following year the first demos were recorded and concerts were played in regional clubs. In autumn 2015, the recording of the debut album If Anybody Falls ... began , which was released in January 2016 on their own. In addition to a release tour with concerts in Germany and Austria, the album was also presented on the newcomer stage of the online radio station Metal Only. In April 2016 the band celebrated one of their greatest successes to date, with a live show in the finale of the Rockavaria Bandcontest in Munich. Also in 2016, Fatal Error was presented as Band of the Week on the SchwarzesBayern website. This was followed by a support show with the Swedish bands Cedron and God Mother, who were on tour in Europe at the time. In addition to mostly regional headlining shows, the band played numerous support shows with Slapshot , Amplified Hate, Defy the Laws of Tradition, UGF and Carnage Calligraphy, among others . In May 2017 the recording of an EP began , which was released in June 2017 under the name Morality Dies and on which John Gahlert from Deadlock can be heard as a guest artist . For June 2018 the organizer of the Bavarian Battle Open Air announced that in addition to bands like God Dethroned and Firespawn , Fatal Error will also be part of the festival's line-up. In August 2019 the band played at the 31st Labertal Festival in Schierling . Fatal Error is also the organizer of the Hard Attack concert series , which takes place annually in the Asta Rosenheim .
style
The band plays a mix of metal and hardcore punk . Elements of Thrash Metal and Melodic Death Metal are also clearly recognizable . Numerous melodies and powerful breakdowns result in a multi-faceted core that is difficult to put into a stylistic drawer. The band itself describes their style of music as Bavarian Schubcore .
