Fatih Yılmaz (born March 5, 1989 in Hanover ) is a former German - Turkish soccer player.

Career

Yılmaz started his career in his hometown for VfB Hannover-Wülfel and in 2005 he moved to the youth team of Hannover 96 . He played for Hannover 96 between 2005 and 2007 and then signed with Eintracht Braunschweig in the summer of the latter year . On August 30, 2008, the 5th matchday, he made his professional debut in the 4-0 away defeat against VfB Stuttgart II when he came on for Deniz Dogan in the 68th minute . In May 2010 it was confirmed that his contract would not be renewed and he left the club on June 30, 2010.

In January 2011 he signed a contract with Süper Lig club Manisaspor . But after only a few months he returned to Germany and signed a contract with Eintracht Nordhorn . In winter 2012 he moved to SV Wilhelmshaven . After two short guest appearances at FK Etar Veliko Tarnowo in Bulgaria and Denizlispor in Turkey in 2013, he signed a contract with FSV Optik Rathenow in 2015 . There he tore a cruciate ligament in a preparation game and then ended his career.
