Fauville-en-Caux is a commune Déléguée in the French community Terres-de-Caux with 2,291 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Seine-Maritime in the region Normandy .
On January 1, 2017, the municipality of Fauville-en-Caux merged with Auzouville-Auberbosc , Bennetot , Bermonville , Ricarville , Saint-Pierre-Lavis and Sainte-Marguerite-sur-Fauville to form the Commune nouvelle Terres-de-Caux. Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Fauville-en-Caux belonged to the canton of Saint-Valery-en-Caux .
The place is about 30 kilometers (as the crow flies) northeast of Le Havre ; the distance to the coast of the English Channel at Fécamp to the west is about 20 km.
The place was first mentioned under the name Favilla in 1152.
